The structure of blister packaging machine

The structure of the blister packaging of the blister packaging machine is shown in Figure 1. It is mainly composed of plastic sheets, heat-sealing coatings, printing inks, and cardboard. PTP drug packaging is composed of plastic rigid film, aluminum foil cover material, heat seal layer and so on.

The assembly of cardboard and blister can be directly heated and sealed (heating the plastic blister) or indirect heating (heating the paper board). Heating equipment includes resistance type, pulse type, electronic type, high frequency type and so on.
The direct heating sealing method is faster than the indirect sealing method, and can reduce the scorching and warping of the cardboard. The operating sequence is: first put the product into the cavity of the blister, cover the blister with a piece of cardboard, and then heat and seal the edges. All heat sealing is performed under constant pressure and within a specified time. After the two melted surface layers are bonded, once the heating is stopped, they solidify almost immediately. The typical sealing method is shown in Figure 2. There are many basic assembly forms of blister packaging, as shown in Figure 3.
